Thats it. Of course, he must be making fudge and that must be a bar of chockalett he is holding. I don’t bake so I was trying to figure out what he might have in his hand and I do not have the imaginitive inclinations as expressed by a couple of posters. Mystery solved.

It’s probably bakers chocolate going into a already sweetened mixture. Could be many things…..probably a sack of all-purpose flour there- with a mix of milk/eggs/flour/sugar/butter.
Marvelous picture on so many levels…just makes me smile. Should have a dress code in the kitchen-sign to read: “NO shirts for baking, trousers optional.”
