Speaking of Ramen – what a bargain at 5 or 6 packs for $1. (Too bad boys aren’t sold that reasonably). Anyway, I eat a lot of Ramen myself – but not just as packaged. Ramen is great base to start with – a palette for your creativity to expore! Sometimes I mix different packages, such as Beef or Chicken with Chile for a Mexican taste. I add additional seasonings, meats, vegetables, diced tomatoes, chiles, pico de gallo, shrimp, bacon, soy sauce (Oriental) etc ad infinitum – in short, I create deluxe soups from minnestrones to albondigas, to seafood bisque (added milk & thickened with either corn starch or flour) -”Ramen on Steroids.” And when all is said and done, cooking a double package fully enhanced rarely costs more than a buck or two for a huge bowl. Lots of fun, flavors to die for, filling, and inexpensive. Bon Appetit!
