Let’s Do This!

Homophobes hate Pepsi since they donated half a million dollars each to the Human Rights Campaign, a group that described itself as “America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality,” and the Straight for Equality program run by Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). It won’t get better with this new TV ad…

  1. hmmmm its a brave advert but I don’t agree with it being good for the movement. Arn’t we trying to normalize homosexuality, the reactions of the two guys at the end reinforce that it isn’t a normal thing. Thats my opinion. Any media is good media I suppose though if it draws peoples attention, I just think we should be aiming higher.

  2. how about that Norwegian tv add of the teenage boy hitting on the other boy at the highschool dance.

  3. Were can u see that one? and the expresion on those 2 was a bit exagerated but straight guys tend to make a lot of any thing gay becouse its so unbelivable….

  4. @HATER of the WMG: Link?

:P I came out to my best friend yesterday. That was def his reaction.

  5. I found it BTW.
This might be too sad, but for anyone else that reads the comments, this made me very very very sad:

  6. Advertisement = success. On all fronts. I’m glad a mega corporation has the balls to be different.

And I will drink pepsi, or pepsi owned products to support them.

  7. OMG, that would be unreal if they showed this in North America, it’s like…. impossible.

  8. Oh yeah. I had found the original norwegian (and the translated american one) but I just wanted to chip in the actually artsy, gay clip that I found. It was very touchy imo

  9. That’s it, I clearly need to chug more Pepsi Max.

OMG, the first ever ad aimed at me and I’m falling for it :)
