      1. Looking at his latest headshot on imdb, he look to be a bit chubby. Perhaps just puberty. Would love to have seen him in just a loin cloth (ala Conor Paolo) in Wrath…

  1. Wow he sure is a hot looking boy… I’d love to get a peak up his skirt….. Sexy indeed..

    1. Yeah, what is the appropriate under garment for this actor? I imagine if they were being 100% historically accurate clothing wise he would be wearing nothing at all!

But seeing as this is a movie, I bet in this scene you would certainly get an eye full once he adjusted his leg!!

Anyone know if there are any better shots?

      1. I don’t know about “historically accurate” but the PG rating would be a consideration for American religious sensitivities regarding a boy “adjusting his leg.” Of course blood and gore should not be a problem.

Believe me, it’s already been ‘calculated’ just for those exact reasons, so, no, you wouldn’t “get an eyeful” of what you wanted or think you might see. I’m pretty sure he’s either wearing: black or dark brown/blue small briefs just so you don’t “see” anything but “shadows” …. or, if by chance “nudity” is “historical” for the production, he would most likely be wearing “skin-colored” small briefs (which you can get for any movie/TV production for just that reason). And inside either color of briefs could very well be a soft (so as not to ‘chaffe’) “cup” so you might see “a perceived bulge,” but definitely not any “outline” for shape of anything.

Sorry to burst your bubble. For directors and/or producers with this “train of thought,” it’s been like this for at least 25 years or more. But that’s not saying all directors and/or producers would do it, but most do for minors — particularly under 16 yrs. old.

        1. I’m not so sure. Did you ever see the pool scene in Simon Birch? Mr. Mazzello had quite a lot to see..

But I agree with you about the above scene.

        2. “[I]t’s been like this for at least 25 years or more,” eh? I wonder how long it will be before it starts to swing back the other way, and we CAN routinely see young boys naked in movies like this, or see them to be visibly without undies.

          1. Probably not for some time…at least not America. Some foreign directors and those involved with film still occasionally have scenes where boys would naturally be nude, though it’s certainly more rare nowadays even for foreign directors, and definitely more so than it was in the 1970s on up to 2000. Strange how things change so much. It was the heyday of nude, now it’s the heyday of prude, and I fear deeply for the future of our cultures and societies.

  2. I know I’m off-topic, but I reckon Sam Worthington is even hotter. I want him to teach me man-to-man combat ;)

  3. His next “movie-dad” will be Luke Evans in “The Hobbit” (world premiere now in New Zealand).

  4. @penboy: Your correct on what is done behind the scenes. I also have worked in films since 1979.

  5. By the way… What are the movies with boys using this clothes, and we can see “something else”? ;)
