I can only hope incidents like this will help to raise awareness of the inequalities of LGBT people in Russia. Hopefully it will help to educate fair minded people there that everyone should be treated as equal.

I have some doubts. Victims’ blood not only encourages bullies but also attracts bystanders who want to be on the winning side. C’est la vie. Sad but true.
