We brazilians are now trying to take him off from the committee, but no one moves a finger to take off a ”Golden Chainsaw” winner from the committee of enviromental protection

Possible???
Mother beat teenage son with electrical cord for being gay
Ah, a sin. Heard that somewhere else before. Spare the rod… Oh well, it was all for god. The rest of that article also includes gems from those people passing for human beings.

It was a sad day for the defense of human rights in Brazil, the day he was elected. I can only hope that the setback in legislation concerning racism and homophobia won’t be as big. We’ve gone as far as having same-sex civil unions to be legal nationwide and we have same-sex marriage allowed in a handful of states. People need to wake up here.

I still can’t belive that this man was elected human rights boss in Brazil. It sounds like a sad joke for me. In my opinion, He can be a stupid and intolerant person in his church, but obviously he’s not the best person to take up this post. This news shows the increasing influence of intolerant religions in Brazilian politics.

Why all the disbelief? Look at Obama. He got a peace prize before he did anything beside getting elected. IF it was because he is black it was a racist prize then instead of a prize putting value on actions taken to bring peace to the world. his being black is nothing special after all because he’s not the only black in political power. Also, anyone remember Arafat? First known as a terrorist then a leader to a nation and then a Nobel peace prize winner. So…. One does have to wonder what a Nobel peace prize is really all about. This is why I’m not surprised to see a racist bigot get to be elected to the post he got.
Important. The above has nothing to do with what ever party Obama belongs to. It is irrelevant to the discussion. I’m saying this so no one thinks it’s a pro or con Obama comment.

“Mother beat teenage son with electrical cord for being gay”
I want to hear the full story on this, because it’s one hell of thing. There’s incest, possible statutory rape considering he was with an 18 year-old (would be a ridiculous charge in this case, but the law is stupid) and abuse. It’s also important to remember that these people are from Texas, and most states that are just over the border house some pretty mentally deranged individuals who know little to nothing about homosexuality. I’m so glad I was raised in the northeast.

Don’t blow it up.
The only crime here was that mad woman’s horrific act of brutally whipping her son.
Incest? Rape? Sheesh! ….
If the boys were both willing partners… then that’s fine and good luck to them both.
But that woman is to be condemned.

re: Mother beat teenage son with electrical cord for being gay
First, a reference to what is “stupid”: A quote from that link:
“We was taught to discipline our kids and we whoop our kids,” she said.
Well, I think the bolded pretty much explains that.
.
I hope this ‘mother’ (very loosely defined) gets to experience her own punishment for this. And I say this from near experiences. My mother whipped me with the buckle end of her belt, so I well know some of what this boy went through. I had enough welts from those whippings for me to remember a long time. Fortunately, my mother wasn’t quite as sadistic as this asshole female (and so many like her that have never removed their umbilical cord from their religious upbringing).
I would agree with any authority that removes this woman from her son permanently and hopefully, she experiences some prison time — at the very least. And, btw, in a female prison, she just may learn what homosexuality is all about.

I’m so sick and tired of the idiotic notion that teenage boys who play around with each other are gay. This mother is clueless and dangerous.
It is normal for a teenage boy to masturbate at least once and very often twice a day. And it is common to achieve more than one orgasm each time. If you spend all day with your best friend or cousin, and then sleep over, your “schedules” are bound to cross. What are boys to do? Each other, of course. If every boy who did it with other boys was gay, then 80+% of males would be gay. Obviously, that’s not the case.
There is so much more to one’s sexual orientation than just sex. Being truly gay is very different than learning about your assorted nerve endings with another boy. Teenage boys can make out, J/O, blow and even fuck each other and still go on to live happy and exclusively heterosexual lives, just chalking up their youthful indiscretions as nothing more than experiences that seemed like good ideas at the time.

Sorry to hear about your childhood and your moms whipping,Penboy. I reckon I had it pretty good, as my mother never hit me and my father gave me a kick in the ass when he came to get me home after I ran away. Don’t ask why I ran away because when I think about it , it makes no sense at all. Stupid kid at a stupid age. Old Dan, I liked your comment and yes I think the Noble Prize is just BS. You should look up who started this Prize thing. horselips: you are so right about the Masturbating thing. I couldn’t wait to get home to do my masterbating homework. I know friends that I was close to in more ways then one who are happily married with a growing family. I have to say that I thought and feel that they where good experiences in there time.
