I don’t see any reference in your comment, of you wanting to be another person. Perhaps the person who made that inference, does not have a good command of the English language, or perhaps, however you say in the second sentence of your comment: “How I would love to go back to that age but in another place and time.” If you had said instead:
How I would love to be that age but in another place and time. It would be difficult to make the inference, about you wanting to be a different person, as Philip did. I think its the rare person that does not once in a while, at least for a moment, wish thy could go back to a time in their life, and do something differently. I think for most of us those moments last a second or less, then we realise that all the things we did in the past, are just that past, and that they are what makes us who we are today.
