  Nah… they’re not gay. That famous skateboard photographer knows these kids and he told me that they are definitely not gay but they get it on with each other when they can’t find some chicks to ball, which is almost every day. But not gay, that is certain.

    Now that is a clever way to pick up chicks knowing many girls like gay guys. I’ll just bet they enjoy their act and possibly engage in threesomes. In any case I like the tenderness I percieve in the photo.

It gives me hope that the world is actually changing.

I just learned today at summer session in college (Western Civilization 101) that there was a time in the ancient world that guys were able to be intimate with each other without being ostracized by their society. They said that in the Greek and Roman world (1200 B.C.E. – 500 A.D.) that the State supported mentoring/relationships between guys were encouraged and endorsed. Wow! Can you believe that shit? There are even tons of examples i.e.:

Hadrian and Antonius

Alexander and Ephistions

King David and Jonathan

and more…

He also told us that not all the mentoring was friendship. He said that sometimes older guys in their 20s raped many boys in the Athenian and Spartan world. That’s not too good. But I learned it wasn’t always like that.

  It’s far more extensive than that. Way more dude! Your statement is so comical in its naivety that it defies belief that a college student is posing it.
  If you really want to get a hard on quickly, go get your grubby hands on a copy of Book XII of the “Greek Anthology”.
  The best translation of it is a book with the title “Puerilities, Erotic Epigrams of The Greek Anthology” by Daryl Hine, Princeton University Press, 2001. But that just scratches the surface. Ask if you want more. And it’s not limited to ancient Greece and Rome! OMG! I can’t believe I have to tell you this on a site like Milkboys. OMG!

    Yup, this ‘mentoring’ relationship has been a stable in lots of ‘warrior’ cultures; japanese samurai, european knights, the greeks etc. Basically the puritan movement only evolved when Christobal Colon discovered America – The Birtplace of STDs

      If you made your paper about Eros then read Plato’s Symposium. Freud, when asked how he used the term “Eros” replied “exactly the same way that Plato does in the Symposium”. Aside from the Phaedrus and the Symposium, most of what Plato wrote was a bore. But that is not the case with these two works. The Symposium deals with the main stream of male sexuality in history which is pederasty, not the crap that modern day faggotdom would lead you to believe.

        A Very major resource is “The Encyclopedia of Homosexuality”, Wayne R. Dynes, William A. Percy, et al. Google it, it’s online for free from Percy’s site.
        Another major work from Professor Percy is “Pederasty and Pedagogy in Archaic Greece”, University of Illinois Press, 1998.
        
        Try to pick up a copy of “Greek Love” by J. Z. Eglinton, which will take you from ancient Greece up to the mid-20th century.
        
        Camille Paglia is another good resource, as is Erwin J. Haeberle founder of the Archive of Sexology and director of the Magnus Hirschfeld Archive for Sexology at Humboldt University. Haeberle has a lot of stuff online including “Pedophilia from the Chinese Perspective” by Dr. Emil M.L.Ng, Department of Psychiatry, University of Hong Kong.
        
        But even this doesn’t begin to scratch the surface.
        
        There is a lot of scholarly work out there if you start to look around. A word of warning, don’t listen to the “gay liberation” crowd since they are rarely scholars and worse yet, usually full of shit.

Stunning. That’s maybe a perk in being gay (if that’s what they are); the smallest PDA carries HUGE social overtones as you do it. You know you are taking a chance and doing something groundbreaking. And it has HUGE significance as same gender expression that way.

Some yrs ago I was at a amusement park in Northern Idaho. It takes in folks from all over and there are city kids from Spokane there, as well. However, the park nestles in the very heart of what used to be the Neo-Nazi capital of North America. In any event I was walking along and I spotted these two teen boys. They were very matter of fact just like this pic….walking along one in front and one trailing a bit behind. The one behind had his finger in the belt loop of the one in front. I followed them just to watch their eyes. They were in love and this was a ‘safe’ way to express it without holding hands.

I tell people this story and most don’t get it, because they didn’t see the teens. And just like this pic, their body language said it all. You just wanna melt when you see such a touching expression as this……and the hope that someday…….

  I have seen something similar to what you describe. The boys I saw were both adorable and fragile looking. To whitness moments like this is really precious. You just want to chere them on.
  
  Last night I came across two teen boys doing a modern dance routine that expresses this theme so well. One of the boys was two maybe three years older but they could pass for brothers though I’m sure they were not. They dressed alike and wore their hair the same. Beautiful boys. The dance was very moving and well done. Maybe Josh has seen it. If I can find the link I will post it. I think it was recorded in Germany or Chek

Well… i knew so many guys like these two!
But… most of them are just simple “wanna-be’s”.
They may be looking gay and some of them handle “gay” just for fun. (<- and believe me, its not very nice when the truth comes out)

  Yeah, I’ve had more than a few friends who liked to play interested because they actually were interested in messing around out of curiosity. But when I was interested in more than that, they never seemed to understand they were tugging on my heartstrings a bit. Ah well, I wouldn’t have taken any of those times back anyway.
