Note by Josh: nelly posted this (thanks Nelly!) but I felt like adding a little comment. In this one case it would be cool if a boy band would turn out not to be gay.
It could teach kids a valuable lesson about being so comfortable and in tune with yourself that you can be affectionate towards friends of the same gender without having to worry that someone might question your sexual orientation.
Maybe it will bring us a bit closer to a point where a) no one will mind if you’re gay, bi or whatever else, b) it is perfectly acceptable to express your feelings about your friends in a natural way and c) we can forget about these stupid clichés telling us that boys and girls have to behave in different ways if they want to survive in our society.

That was a very good video — lots of fun to watch. It was like having a life-size teddy bear always next to you. If only this attitude would go “viral” — this would be a much better place.

So true. I’ve always loved their attitude (far more than their music lol), and this is a great compilation.
I really hope that if there is romance within the band, they are allowed to share it with the world, and aren’t being gagged by the record label.

Their producer or manager probably instructed them to act a little gay now and then to attract the important gay consumer group and thereby make even more profit. I hope what I saw here was sincere though.

If you people who haven’t done so go take a look at the One Direction topic on the Milkboys message board, you’ll see pics of some of them in their underwear, there’s a much better band picture with Louis and Harry kissing and many more.
Maybe Harry’s 32 year old girlfriend is a beard?

I love that these boys are having a great time, they have sold out 18 concerts in Australia that do not happen for another 12 + months, young girls are crying and swooning at the mere sight of them.

Hopefully stints like this push the ‘known’ boundaries of boys having good times & fun together….without the stigma attached that they are ‘probably gay’, because of such behavior. I have seen this, but sadly it’s not the norm yet.

since arriving in the USA they’ve changed their tune on sexuality. you no longer hear or see them being gay with each other, publicists state all either have or recently had girlfriends. “they’re close like brothers”

No wonder the Gay Community is getting bad press if all we think about is whether or not one of the members of One Direction, is gay. Is it because we hope they are or is it because we look at the beautification of the lads and we get hard as our fantasy runs amok. Sexual morality goes out the window when we put labels on people and until they come out publicly I do not give a flying %&^$ if I hear from a-n-other that says ‘my friends sister know this boy’s brother who told me that so and so was caught in a compromising position’. It is all chinese whispers.
