Tolerance isn’t good enough
about 19 hours ago - 21 comments
If you want to learn how to measure the vast distance between “tolerance” and “acceptance,” join the Boy Scouts of America. Yesterday, 61% of 1,400 voting members of the BSA’s National Council voted to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone.” Before you start writing “thank you” letters More >
You’re intolerant & a Bully

Well, that’s rich. US house representive Jim Bridenstine took the floor in the House this week calling out “the left” (implying something like this exists in US politics) for their “intolerance” of demanding gay youth to be allowed into the boy scouts. Because, you know, if you want everyone to be treated equal you’re being More >

Does anyone of you notice that comparing people of color and food is racist? Please think twice next time, before you comment a black person like that.
What about “Cherry Lips” or “Lips sweeter than wine” or “Creamy white skin?” White is a color too.
You make your point on a blog called “Milkboys”. To use the popular meme, your argument is invalid.

Chocolate milk! Even hotter!

Why does the gay community harbor so much distain for people of African descent? Knowing how incredibly difficult it is to be gay, can you image being gay & black; being shunned by society and your gay brothers & sisters. This kid is beautiful.
The “gay community” is full of posers, demigods and bitter old queens. The slate hasn’t been written yet to define the diversity of our community. Most of my peers are gaga for the idea of an African American BF. That isn’t to say they all do it, but fantasize about it for sure. People of color are not my particular thing, but I celebrate them being represented fairly….which they are not.

“Why does the gay community harbor so much [distain] for people of African descent?”
Just for an illustration:
Let’s go back to 2008 with Prop. 8 on the General Election ballot. ……… NOW, ………… Why did/does the black community harbor so much disdain for gay people who want to marry?

My Love,
That is a beautiful question and I’m so glad you asked it. US Census for 2010: African Americans in California, 5.8% Latino 37.6%s and Asians 12.8%. The largest population of whites in the US is in California and 1/3 of Asians in the US reside in California. What you retort is FOX News Spin. Blacks are “powerless” to exact policy in California; they simply don’t have the numbers or the money. The reason gay marriage failed in the most liberal state of the union is because of Utah which is 99.7% white. Keep in mind, “The most educated person will always win.” Please don’t let propaganda split the gay community. We are slathered in various countries for simply loving, we are jailed in many places for a simple embrace, WE KILL OURSELFS, because we are so divided. Where is the refuge for a gay Black teen growing up in this world? I love you. My only quest is that you can find it in your heart to love me to.

First, I didn’t state that it was primarily the blacks who passed Prop. 8. In fact, I wasn’t talking about the voting at all. What I was referring to was during the Prop. 8 campaign and afterward, all national polls taken with blacks showed that at least 80% of them did not approve of same-sex marriage in any way.
And I wasn’t talking about blacks “exacting” policy in California. But those national polls showed that, as a “group,” they were mostly universally against any same-sex marriage. And that is not FOX “spin.”
Now, some are asking about the “gay disdain” for blacks but fail to ask/realize that blacks have their own “disdain” for gays and gay/same-sex marriage. That is the comparison I was making. That’s why I said what I did.
Thank you Sir. I agree with you 100%. For the most part the Black community does not embrace gays or gay marriage, but to bolster my point. A disenfranchised black gay person in my opinion literally has nowhere to turn; the Black community rejects him as well as the gay community. For MB to post ONE just ONE Black boy on its site and for that action to garner such utter distain by a community of people that truly understand discrimination and hatred is rather revealing of the gay community. “Not my preference” can no longer be an excuse for hatred. Once again I thank you for the intriguing debate and I thank MB for facilitating the platform.
Thank you,

It is difficult to find young black & gay pics on the web so I’m glad to see more on here.

Okay, so he is adorable… about as adorable as my BF. I am a white 22 year old gay boy and I’m dating a black 18 year old, just saying.
I am in Arizona, USA, and I find there is a lot of segregation amongst cultural groups within the gays out here. There are mexican, trucker, and white gay bars, and everything inbetween! But, and even my white momma says this, being black and gay is the hardest. He leans on me for support sometimes after we get back from an gay event or gay restaurant, and I just don’t get why so many queens out there think being gay and proud is a white thing or that black or latino boys have it different than us white gays. :-/
Regardless, both Earnest and my boy are gorgeous and I don’t see the color of my BF’s skin when I kiss him or hold him close. Not that I’m more attracted to black or latino or asian boys, etc, but hear hear! I too would like to see the other shades of the rainbow featured on our blog more often!

All muscle. No ‘pop-culture’ softness or self-mutilations here. No psycho-babble teenage angst. And I can asure you he’s not being bullied. This boy is a living monument to unadulterated, undiluted masculinity, and dominant male sexual power. Hit the sack with this boy and expect an “E Ticket” ride.

these comments demonstrate: gays are no better in character than the general public, unfortunately
about 1 year ago
This is no surprising revalation; being gay does not automatically make a person extra virtuous or better than anybody else, it just means we have that in common.

Yeah, bring on the fat boys, the craterfaces, the assymetrical faces, the boys with crooked teeth and all the other ‘uglies’. And in short time there won’t be any visitors to MB. You might find it sad, but its just a question of how humans are wired – luckily we’re the only species capable of compensating for our deficiencies with a personality. Whats sad is that personality takes lousy pictures

Oooo that was good and very PC I would say.

Beautiful boy – why the nervousness about his (appealing) skin-tint?
If he’s American I’d probably have fewer cultural problems with him than with – say – a Swedish person.
Most people writing here seem to come from, or live in, large conurbations.
In places like Belfast every-Gay-body has to tolerate everybody else.
Is the nervousness really about skin tint? Or is it really about culture or a certain segment of a culture?
“why the nervousness about his (appealing) skin-tint?”
That’s funny, “skin-tint.” No, he’s not really black. It’s just a photo printed out with a Deskjet which ran out of color ink.

Just stunning and it is a shame we do not see more black boys around MB. MelodicalMike and Kidcuti are the only two that spring to mind ( both are lovely guys too).

DAMN that young man is absolutely gorgeous. The color of his skin means nothing. The smoothed well cared for body. those wonderfully kissable lips. The gun in his pocket. This milky is Perfect. And I see no racism referring to him as a Chocolate Milky! Tasty!
I feel it is about skin-tint – not sure what “culture or a certain sector of a culture” means.
‘Black’ / African-American culture has, after all, given the world jazz and many notable artists in every conceivable field.
And many notable moral actors from anonymous escaped slaves to Martin Luther King.
Sorry for the heavy-duty comment.

Dear Bruce Tharp
– if I misunderstood what you wrote – I apologise.
But ‘Earnest’ above looks, and one suspects, is a sweet, civilised, queer boy who is more likely to be beaten-up that to beat-up.
Just think of your soft lips on his…
And his soft lips… well… wherever you might want them…
